2019 Lemonade Power Retreat

Last month, I conducted my fifth Lemonade Power Retreat in Sedona, Arizona. This retreats is where my heart is at; connecting with attendees (aka Lemonade Sisters) on a human level. Sharing my own journey, trials and tribulations and, hearing theirs. It's my favorite weekend of the entire year.  Before I left this retreat center, I secured the dates (September 19-22) for the 2019 retreat. This particular center was so healing and special -- I knew this was the place for future retreats.I wanted to share what a few of my new Lemonade Sisters had to say about the 2018 Sedona retreat:“Tina’s retreat was amazing. The people whom I met were going through similar experiences so it made me feel understood. Going through challenges after divorce is hard, especially with shared children between you,  but post divorce troubles are amplified to a whole new level in our cases. I felt validated while meeting some remarkably resilient women.” -LB, 2018 Retreat Attendee"I signed up for the Lemonade Retreat months prior and when the time came to prepare to leave I quite honestly regretted having signed myself up.  I was anxious about leaving my children - all of the what ifs of leaving and drama and insanity we all know so well that seems to ensue too often to keep track of.  We are so entrenched in the daily fires and tireless battle to save our children that we come last.  But guess what?  If we do not fill our own buckets we can not truly be there in the best way possible for our children.  This retreat with like minded strong, intelligent and compassionate women who GET IT without having to explain the insanity was priceless.  Not only was it a time for personal renewal and re-energizing, it was a time in a gorgeous setting where the positive energy of nature is strong.  It was a time to fill our bodies with healthy, delicious food, rest, talk with other women and form a strong bond that will last.  I know these are women I will lean on in the future, get together with again, celebrate each of our victories in protecting our children and commiserate about our frustrations and common experiences.  I am forever grateful to Tina for her insights, strength and for being the ring leader of this invaluable experience." -M, 2018 Retreat Attendee“Tina Swithin has bravely fought her battle for her children in the harsh public eye and the broken family court system while enduring the mental, emotional and financial abuse of her Narcissistic ex- husband.  Until her ground-breaking blog & real-life battlefront books, women like me have struggled with these toxic issues alone.  She has created a community for us for camaraderie and for sanity, since the Narcissist “crazy-making” cannot be understood, unless you have lived on the other end of it.  Her lemonade power retreat was genuinely life-reaffirming and life-changing.  My life will never be the same!  In a special place filled with metaphoric meaning, we gathered to share our pain, but left finding purpose and passion to live our truth.  We have a tool box of ideas and an arsenal of survivors to thrive rather than merely survive.  Thank you Tina, you have made an immeasurable difference to all of us “lemonade sisters,” a family I am honored to be a part of.” - 2018 Retreat Attendee
